The building of new ships

NEUE JADEWERFT has been building new vessels since 1950. Several hundred ships have left our docks since then, ranging from container ships, fishing trawlers, tugs, authority and special service vessels.

When having a ship built, the customer may wish to take advantage of our comprehensive service ranging from the projecting and planning to the final completion of the ship. NEUE JADEWERFT (wich has been certified according to ISO 9001) offers its customers a complete package (i.e. welding, mechanical engineering, the installation of th ship's electronics ans cooling system, the standard interior fittings, proofing against corrosion etc., to name but a few) for the competent building and completet fitting of ships of any shape or size required.
